School Placement
We have strong working relationships with leading UK schools and nurseries. These include day schools (state and independent), boarding schools and international schools. These links support your child’s placement into top schools where they will excel and be happy. We arrange school placements for both UK and international families. Moreover, our consultants based in elsewhere in Europe, the US and UAE will arrange your child’s placement into schools and nurseries in these regions.
University Advice
Our consultants can advise on all aspects of the UK university application process. This includes which subjects to study at school, preparing for Oxbridge entrance examinations and personal statements. We can arrange mentors to help your child manage the transition from school to university
Relocation Support
We work with individuals and families relocating to the UK, as well as international clients based abroad, expat and UK families. We enjoy providing support to both corporate and private clients. We can arrange for relocation support to ease your transition to life in the UK. If you are relocating to the US, UAE or wider Europe, we can put in you touch with trusted relocation specialists in these countries.
Tutoring Service
We can arrange for mentoring and tutoring programmes carefully tailored to help you or your family achieve their academic goals. Tutoring includes language tuition for relocating families, preparation for school and university entrance exams in the UK, Europe, US and UAE.

JOHANNA MITCHELL
Johanna specialises in providing expert and multi-lingual educational support. She works with both UK and expat families. She has over 20 years’ experience in educational consultancy, as well as management experience, including international roles in Whitehall, UK Government. She has also worked as head of a small, private school. A graduate of London University and the Sorbonne, Johanna believes in providing a top-quality, sensitive service to her clients. Alongside the Lumos Education team, she has helped many families find the right education solution for their children.
