The American School in London (ASL).
Located in St John’s Wood, in North London, the American School (ASL) follows the US curriculum, taking children from 4 all the way to 18. The 50 different nationalities represented at the school give it a truly global outlook, whilst at the same time focusing on providing an American education. Students and parents comment on the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
The school understands how challenging an international move can be and takes time to help new families settle. It is also experienced in helping children transition from the UK to US curriculum. The American International School in England (TASIS)
Located in Surrey, just outside London, TASIS provides a quality, rounded education for both day (age 3–18) and boarding (age 14–18) pupils from around the globe. The school is co-educational with over 50 nationalities represented, approximately half of which hold an American passport, while 17% have UK nationality. The school offers both the American curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme, perfect for families relocating from international schools around the globe.
About half the students move on the US universities, with the rest choosing higher education in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Students enjoy the stunning rural campus which provides outstanding opportunities for sports and the arts.
ACS Hillingdon, ACS Egham and ACS Cobham
ACS Hillingdon, located in Middlesex, and ACS Cobham and Egham, both situated in Surrey, offer both the traditional American High School Diploma and the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. ACS Cobham, and ACS Hillingdon also teach US Advanced Placement (AP) courses. The Cobham school admits students from aged 2 to 18 years and also offers boarding facilities for students from 12 years. The Egham and Hillingdon schools take students from 4 to 18 years. The ACS schools welcome students from over 100 countries and are experienced in catering for expat families. As well as being academically outstanding, the schools offer excellent drama, music and sporting opportunities.
ACS graduates attend leading universities around the world including: Cambridge, Imperial College London, London School of Economics, and Oxford in the UK and Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and Pennsylvania State University in the US.
