Headmistress Lucy Elpinstone is very aware of the issues surrounding the education of girls in 21st century, making sure that all students learn computer programming and emphasizing the need for girls to be adaptable and able to reinvent themselves. In a rapidly changing world, this is a vital skill: our daughters need to be prepared for the fact that they will have a variety of different careers in their lifetime. We welcomed the fact that Mrs Elphinstone recognises that those with dyslexia are highly intelligent and creative and achieve top results academically, with the right support.

Aside from traditional academic subjects, pupils also excel in ballet, music, art and sport with many opportunities for enrichment offered in school clubs.
